Wall mounted holy-water stoup of riuoghly polygonal shape at the upper rim; the sides are almost vertical and the lower end of the basin is pointed. All the sides are decorated (starting from the left): this side is rough but has a large "T" incised in it; the next side has a large narrow male head, bearded; a vertical motif (?); a shield with the pilgrim's shell; a squarish motif (?). The stoup is locally known "St-Jacques" and said to be from the 12th century [although the shield motif alone would indicate a later date] [Our gratitude to Montserrat Estela, of Barcelona, Spain, for bringing this stoup to our attention and for the images]
