Illustrated in Udvalgte Middelalderkirker i Østjylland (1997). Described and illustrated in Hein (1966) as a baptismal font of the Horder [Horderus] workshop: a quasi-cylindrical basin mounted on a pedestal base with centre ring; the sides of the basin are ornamented with two bands of acanthus vine motif; the upper rim has a rope motif all around. The base is of the type that has four stops at the angles, as if a square lower base had been fit against a round inner shape. The font is made of reddish granite. In 1699 a Baroque casing [="fonthylster"] with inscribed names and coats of arms was made to cover the font [cf. ImagesArea]; the casing was removed in 1915 but preserved in one of the chapels.
