Described and illustrated in Bolege-Vieweg (1998: 188, 189) as a tub-shaped Romanesque baptismal font. It is wider at the upper rim and now mounted on four (?) short blocks. The sides of the basin are ornamented with incised shields bearing coat-of-arms, added at a later date; the incised lines are now done in bright gold paint or guilded. Other than this later addition, the basin is plain but for a broad but flat torus around the upper rim side. Like some of the fonts in the area, this one has been fitted with a grid-like cover of cast-iron (?).
