Described and illustrated in Bolege-Vieweg (1998: 58-59) as an octagonal mounted baptismal font dated by an inscription to 1540. The basin has a plain protruding upper rim; the upper basin sides are ornamented with a continuous arcade of round arches that rest on three-leaf motifs; this same arcade design is replicated on the lower basin side, but reversed, i.e., upside-down; between the two, and inscription runs on three sides of the basin [cf. Inscription area]. The undebowl is rounded and plain. The stem of the base and the lower base are octagonal and plain. The font has a modern metal (brass?) mid-dome cover topped with an angel figure; it bears and inscription.
