Described and illustrated in Bolege-Vieweg (1998: 42, 43, 45, 46) as a tub-shaped Romanesque baptismal font, slightly wider at the upper rim; there are two faintly raised parallel bands around the sides, one at the upper rim side, the other at the bottom. The font now has a modern cast-iron (?) grid-like cover; there is a reinforcement metal ring about 3/4 down the basin side, probably modern as well.
