Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 930512F1] as the basin of a baptismal font made of soapstone ca. 1200; it appears roughly cylindrical, the sides decorated with a succession of panels with sideways ironwork-like spikes in the shape of fleurs-de-lis at opposite ends of each; the SHM describes the motif as "beslagsornamentik", and the workshop (?) responsible for the font, "Beslagsmästaren"; the rounded underbowl appears plain, and it has a very short stem below; it now stands on a modern wooden base. No cover present. In earlier photographs [cf. Images area] the font can be seen in the centre aisle, near the front [east] end; it is now [ca. 2021] located in the sotheast corner, close to the communion railing.
