Described and illustrated in Bronarski (1998: [11]): "The monumental baptismal font made of marble from Debnica comes from the 17th century. It was destroyed during the Warsaw uprising. It was reconstructed after the war from pieces which were found in ruins. The creator of the baptismal font (1631 year) was Warsaw citizen Petrus Noire Gallus". The font consists of a hermispherical basin with a protruding moulding at the upper rim; this is followed down by a scotia, as is common in this design, and another moulding; below it, the rest of the sides and underbowl are covered in a high-relief ribbed pattern. The base is a baluster-type round pedestal with a protruding middle; the lower base is a small square. The font appears mounted on two steps. The cover is a golden dome (appears to be metal) topped with an orb-and-cross finial. The font is located in the baptismal chapel, on the north side, next to St. John the Baptis's chapel.
