Evans (1914) writes: "The octagonal shaped Bowl of the old Font though broken is still preserved; it has a drain-hole and there are indications of its once having had a cover." Tyrrell-Green (1928: 40) notes the surviving basin of an old baptismal font from this church. The entry for this church in COFLEIN [https://coflein.gov.uk/en/site/419529/details/st-michaels-church-ciliau-aeron] [accessed 5 January 2020] notes: "Nothing is known of the pre-eighteenth century church. [...] It was rebuilt in the mid-eighteenth century, on the same site and in the same location as its predecessor, but retaining nothing of its earlier fabric [...] restored in 1905"; no font mentioned in it.
