Johansson (1925) places this font in the 'Hamnedagruppen'. Noted in Blomqvist (1929) in his chapter on fonts by the 'Huvudmästarnas efterföljare', in the Sunnerbogruppen. Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a 'Sunnerbrogruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1170. Listed as a baptismal font of the Bestiarius workshop (Group 6) in Drake (2002: 183). Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910617F2] as a 'Bestiariusgruppen"sandstone font of the 12th century, decorated with seven arches of beaded-tape pattern inscribing an Agnus Dei and several quadrupeds, one of them a bicorporate and crowned centaur; at least two of the spandrels of the arcade are crosses inscribed in ovals; the round-to-square base has animal heads devouring human heads at the four corners. No cover present.
