Noted and illustrated in Blomqvist (1929). Listed as a baptismal font of the Bestiarius workshop (Group 6) in Drake (2002: 183). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910618F1] as a 'Bestiariusgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century. The font consists of a roughly culindrical basin decorated with animals inscribed in an arcade of eoight round arches; additional decoration on the sides of the basin consists og rope moulding, beaded band and a saw-tooth or zig-zag band; the centre ring is a broad rope moulding atop the round-to-square base; also on the base are four human heads, one at each corner, vegetal motifs on the sides between them, and two rows of rope moulding below. No cover present; Somer cracks and other damage present.
