Scene Description: the quadruped facing right has a large head and very large pointed ears; near its neck and mouth of the quadruped is a reptile (a snake?), or this reptile is also part of the quadruped; this part of the basin is undamaged and show a full view of the animals but the details are not clear; the quadruped appears to have three hind legs and only one from leg (!)

Scene Description: Source caption: "Runestone Sm 98 at the Myresjö old church" -- entry in the Fornsök Riksantikvarieämbetet: "Runsten, granit, 0,55 m hög, 0,75 m bred och 0,2 m tjock. Runhöjden är 9-12 cm. Stenen är fragmentarisk och har 35 runor. Stenen står lutad mot långhustets V-vägg. Enligt Smålands runinskrifter flyttades stenen intill altaret 1906. Enligt Smålands runinskrifter lyder inskriften:"... satte denna sten efter Tote (el. Dote), ... son, Göts broder."" -- the stone is set on a ledge of the west wall of the nave
