Listed in Drake (2002: 183) as a baptismal font of the Bestiarius workshop (attributed to Group 4, but not verified). The May 2017 entry for this church by Christer Nielsen in the NAH [http://www.nah.se/Filer/2017-05-10 Moheda kyrka - kyrkobeskrivning.pdf] [accessed 8 April 2020] mentions a medieval font decorated with animal motifs [notes: "Från denna tid finns även rester av en medeltida dopfunt som har haft fabeldjursornamentik"]; this same source mentions the present font in use, made in 1947 of Scottish sandstone by Gunnar Thorhamn decorated with a number of saints and symbols ["Dopfunten framme i koret är tillverkad i skotsk sandsten år 1947 och formgiven av konstnären Gunnar Torhamn. Omkring foten slingrar sig ormdraken, den uråldriga symbolen för ondskans makter, som krossasav dopets kraft. På dopfuntens cuppa är i upphöjd figur inhuggna de tre män som burit Kristi evangelium till Europa, Sverige och Värend: S:t Paulus, S:t Ansgar och S:t Sigfrid."] [NB: Raine Borg (2002: 85) mentions the church here but not the font -- we have not yet located any photographs of this font -- 8 April 2020//mt].
