Included in Blomqvist (1929) in his chapter on 'Huvudmästarnas efterföljare' as a 'Lekerydsgruppen' font with those of Växtorp, Rydaholm and Vireda; made of sandstone in the 13th century. Inventoried and illustrated in Borg (2002) as a 'Lekerydsgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone in 1170-1220. Described in Drake (2002: 141, 183) as a baptismal of the Bestiarius workshop (Group 7 - Transitional); like the fonts at Vaxtorp No. 1, Svarttorp and Vireda - adds Drake (ibid., p. 141), "these [oval shapes] have grown and become a ring of human heads peering out from under the overhang of the bowl". Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 910601F3] as a 'Bestiariusgruppen' baptismal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century, the basin decorated with an arcade of eight arches. No cover present.
