Noted in Blomqvist (1929) as a baptismal font of unknown origin but found in Voxtorp; it was later moved to the Jönköpings län museum; Blomqvist (ibid.) attributes it to a 'Lekerydsmästaren', follower of Bestiarius. Inventoried and illsutarted in Borg (2002) as a baptismal font made of sandstone in 1170-2220, and located in Jlm [sic]' Borg's entry (ibid.) gives accepts Blomqvist's attribution to the 'Lekerydsgruppen'. Described in Drake (2002: 141, 142, 183) as a baptismal of the Bestiarius workshop (Group 7 - Transitional); like the fonts at Lekeryd and Vireda - adds Drake (ibid., p. 141), "these [oval shapes] have grown and become a ring of human heads peering out from under the overhang of the bowl"; other ornamentation include "single motifs based based on the five-leaf version of the fleur-de-lis" (ibid., p. 142). Noted and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940718F1] as a Bestiariusgruppen baptismal font made of sandstone in the second half of the 12th century; of unknown origin, this font is reported in the SHM entry as being at the Jönköpings läns museum (Inv. Nr.: 16476). The SHM entry makes reference to Blomqvist [cf. supra] and his attribution and origin. The entry for this church by Jonas Haas, 'Voxtorps kyrka: Kulturhistorisk karakterisering och bedömning', JÖNKÖPINGS LÄNS MUSEUM, Byggnadsvårdsrapport 2007:79 [https://www.bebyggelseregistret.raa.se/bbr2/show/bilaga/showDokument.raa;jsessionid=BCB076721E0F4C0C4962540301FD77A9.lx-ra-bbr?dokumentId=21000001825974&thumbnail=false] [accessed 7 October 2021] mentions a medieval font that was in storage, together with other objects from this church, in the Jönköpings län museum in 1930 [="Igenmurning av norra mittfönstret och istället plats iordninggjord för äldre altarskåp och dopfunt som dittills förvarats på länsmuseet i Jönköping. (SvK)" [NB: the source appears to be SvenskaKyrka]
