Noted and illustrated in Blomqvist (1929) and in Hallbäck (1966), the former attributing it to a workshop near Bestiarius. Listed in Drake (2002) as a baptismal font of the Romanesque period belonging to the Bestiarius workshop (Group 1); the basin has a "cylindrical upper part above a steeply sloping lower section. Described and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 920901F8] as a baptismal font made of limestone and dated ca. 1200 and noting Blmqvist attribution. On-site notes at Göteborgs stadsmuseum [storage unit]: cylindrical basin decorated with an elaborate and well-rendered pattern of foliage in an arcade of beaded-tape arch-heads on double columns with capitals and bases; palmette ends in the spandrels; thin rope moulding at the upper rim; a vine on the underbowl; raised on a circular stem decorated with an interlace pattern of linked circles; on a moulded lower base. The font is damaged, with large cracks, and one large chunk.missing from its rim. The modern font in this church is made of painted brick, an octagonal basin on a pedestal base.
