Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de Calvados (2001, v. 2: 917) as a crudely rendered tub-shaped baptismal font located in the "capelle aux lierres" [=ivy chapel] of this church. [The source has the exact date "1441" assigned to this font, and a reference that it is "I.S.M.H. 1927", i.e., "inscrit à l'Invantaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques". The date, however, appears too late for a vessel of these characteristics, more likely done in the 12th or 13th century]. The font is much damaged and shows very worn, probably through exposure, though the damage to the upper rim is likely related to old metal anchorings for a cover. The font is now raised on a modern plinth. No cover present.
