Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de Calvados (2001, v. 2: 921) as a tub-shaped monolithic baptismal font ornamented with a shallow-relief blind arcade of round arches al around the basin sides and stars at the edges. The flat wooden lid appears modern. It is very similar in general shape to other fonts in the area [e.g.: the font at Ablon, in the same canton]. This source informs that the font at Genneville had been abandoned in the cemetery in the 19th century, but it is now re-installed back inside the church.
