Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de Maine-et-Loire (2001, v. 1: 420) as an oval mounted baptismal font of the 17th century; the base is a square pedestal of the baluster-type. It is made of highly polished black marble with white veins, and described as the work of a master artisan; together with a date earlier than the inauguration of this church, it raises the question of its presence in this village. The font has a flat metal cover with a cross finial.
