Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 1: 618) as a bucket-shaped basin mounted on a plain cylindrical base; the upper basin sides are ornamented with four heads -identified in this source as rams- at 90-degree angles; the basin inner well is multilobed, as are some of the gaps of the outer upper rim, between the heads [NB: the multi-lobe carving may have been a later alteration if the font is, as claimed, 11th- or 12th-century]. No cover present.
