Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes d'Indre-et-Loire (2001, v. 1: 534) as a tub-shaped holy-water stoup ornamented with foliage pattern all around; it was re-carved from a Gallo-Roman column of the 3rd or 4th century, perhaps a votive column.
