Described and illustrated in Alonso Romero (2003). Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a Romanesque font originally from the Iglesia de San Prudencio. A cylindrical unmounted baptismal font of the Romanesque period, originally form the church of San Prudencio, now in the "museum" set up inside the Concatedral de San Pedro in Soria (city); the object is ornamented with a blind arcade of round arches in shallow relief on the upper register, and a slightly smaller arcade on the lower register. The stone shows wear, and lichen damage, all over, especially around the upper rim, as would be expected. [NB: as of 2017 this church houses also the restored font originally from Sauquillo de Alcazar -- cf. BSI entry fo Sauquillo de Alcazar for the full record on that font]
