Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 2: 1634) as a baptismal double font dated from the 16th century and made from local stone [painted to imitate marble]; it consists of three separate blocks of stone: the upper block includes the two octagonal basins and the connector; the latter is ornamented with a shield charged with an unidentified coat of arms; the other two separate blocks are the two pedestal bases, both cylindrical but with octagonal lower ends.
