Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 2: 1258) as an oval mounted baptismal font in black marble dated from the 17th century; the upper basin sides are decorated with a scotia all around and two handle-like ornaments, one at each of the narrow sides. The pedestal base is a round pedestal with a roll moulding towards the top; it is now raised on a round plinth with arcaded legs, of a lighter material and probably from a different period.
