Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 2: 1239) as an octagonal mounted baptismal font of the 16th century; the font cover, of the "buffet-type", has verical sides that actually cover those of the stone basin partially; the upper level of the cover is a dome covered in scalloped pattern and topped with an orb-and-cross finial.
