Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 2: 1049) as a hemispherical mounted baptismal font of the 16th century, ornamented with ribbed pattern on the basin sides; the round upper base has large leaf motif that ends in animal claws; it rests on a plain square block. Flat wooden cover -appears modern- topped with a Latin-cross finial.
