Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 2: 1047) as a hemispherical mounted baptismal font of the 16th century, ornamented with a rope moulding on the upper basin side and ribbed pattern that reaches all the way round the underbowl; round baluster-type pedestal base ornamented with large leaf motif, resting on a polygonal lower base bearing the same type of leaf ornamentation. The wells of the basin are rather irregular: a central round well smaller than would have been expected; to the side of it, a small rectangular well probably for the holy oils, etc.; next to the latter, another well shaped like a segment of the circle.
