Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. XI, hft. 1: 94, 117) as a hemispherical mounted baptismal font of the "Äldre Mälardalstype" [=Old Mälar-valley type] made of a reddish-brown sandstone and dated from ca. 1200; the basin is round and plain; the base is square at the bottom and rounded with a ring-moulding at the top. The same source (ibid.) refers to the basin of the font at Svinnegarn and Kalmar [cf. Index entries] as cognates. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940621F1] as a "mellansvensk verkstad" baptismal font made of sandstone ca. 1200.
