No mention of this church found in Meyrick. Tyrrell-Green (1928: 32) reports a baptismal font with a hexagonal basin in this church. Evans (1914) notes: "The ancient Font has been chiselled and renovated, and now rests disconsolately on a freestone base". The entry for this church in COFLEIN [www.coflein.gov.uk/en/site/97057/details/st-briogs-churchst-dyfriogs-church-llandyfriog] [accessed 11 January 2020] notes: "The church was a parish church during the medieval period [...] The earlier church was similar in plan to the present church but consisted of nave and chancel only. The church was reportedly substantially rebuilt before 1860 at which time the chancel arch, windows and internal fittings were noted to be modern and there was a single bellcote on the nave's west wall. [...] The present church [...] was constructed on a platform comprising spoil from its predecessor in 1888"; no font mentioned.
