A baptismal font in this church is described in Tyrrell-Green (1928) as "an early example of the introduction of the octagonal shape in a font of tub-like form". The basin appears octagonal with plain tapering sides, and it had a flat wooden cover, octagonal and with metal decoration, ca. 1910 [NB: a later font, said to have originally been from this church, is now in nearby Buckholt - cf. Index entry]
