Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ) as a baptismal font probably of the late Romanesque period as suggested by the pointed arches of the arcade; this arcade in low relief runs around the side of the hemispherical basin [which has extended vertical sides]; the arches rest on a flat moulding that circles the basin parallel to the arches themselves; the short cylindrical base is modern; there is a relatively modern flat wooden cover; the lock for the cover is, as is common in this area of the Pyrenees, on the upper basin side rather than in the rim. The font appears to have been partly embeded in the wall. Noted in Badia-Homs (2007) as early Gothic.
