Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des comunes de la Sarthe (2001, v. 1: 419) as an octagonal unmounted baptismal font ornamented with Gothic windows of several types on the sides. It is similar in general design and ornamentation to the font at Vernie, in the canton de Mamers, also in Sarthe, but unlike the latter, this font has a row of ball motif right on the upper rim, all around. A flat wooden font with an old-style lock [a long iron bar goes over the wooden lid and locks into staples at opposite sides of the upper basin].
