The entry for this parish in Meyrick (1808) reports: "The font is square, supported by a circular pillar." Described and illustrated in Tyrrell-Green (1928) as one in a group of baptismal fonts consisting of a scallop-capital shaped basin raised on a cylindrical shaft (included in the group are: "Castlemartin (Pem), Clovelly (Devon), Kingston Seymour (Somerset), Llangoedmore (Cardigan) [...] St. Twynnels (Pem), Weston-in-Gordano (Somerset), and Dearham (Cumb). The basin well is square in shape. Described in Thurlby (2006), with reference to Tyrrell-Green [cf. above]. The entry for this church in COFLEIN [https://www.coflein.gov.uk/en/site/310132/details/st-cynllos-church-llangoedmor] [accessed 22 January 2020] notes: "The church was a parish church during the medieval period, belonging to the Deanery of Sub-Aeron. [...] In 1711 the church was extensively repaired. There was an eastern spire by 1810. The church was rebuilt in 1830-1832 [...] The church was again restored in 1860 [...] The square, cushioned font bowl may be medieval in date (retooled in the nineteenth to twentieth century)." The entry for this church in British Listed Buildings [https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/300009890-church-of-st-cynllo-llangoedmor] [accessed 22 January 2020] notes: "big square cushion font apparently C19 but H M Vaughan thought recut medieval.
