Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. V, hft. 5: 548 and fig. 485 on p. 549) as a late-13th century limestone baptismal font found in a yard in Husby [SK..., ibid, fig. 484 on p. 548 shows a photograph by O. Janse of 1900, in which the basin appears sitting directly on the ground with a plant growing in it; the pedestal base is seen nearby, just to the left of the basin]. The font was brought into the church in 1936 by J.E. Eriksson, the then churchwarden. This font is of a common type in Sweden: circular basin with slightly angled sides, almost cylindrical but wider at the top; the base is of two parts: conical stem and splayed lower base. The basin appears very eroded and shows two long horizontal cracks.
