Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. V, hft. 4: 398 and fig. 349 on p. 401) as one of two early fonts found in this church, being originally from nearby Fasta or Esterna. This one, a cylindrical mounted Romanesque font is very much damaged [source illustration in SK... is a drawing by G. Fogde made in 1956]. [NB: the 1795 inventory of the church at Fasta listed one stone font, without further particulars. There is a second stone font at Fasterna now that could also be from Fasta or Esterna. The Fasta church now uses a brass baptismal bowl donated ca. 1680]
