Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 4: 464) as a plain hemispherical basin mounted on a round base; it is made of limestone and a sugested date is given in this source to the 13th century. The church inventory of 1829 records the font in the churchyard (ibid., p. 464n1), but by 1926 it was back in the church, near the choir; it was restored in 1950-1952.
