Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 4: 413-414, fig. 436 on p. 412 and figs. 437 and 438 on p. 413) as three fragments believed to be from a 13th-century baptismal font. The material is reported as limestone, probably from Uppland or from South Gästrikland, and the daiting of the font sometime in the 13th century. The fragments appeared to be from one of the sides and from the bottom of the basin and a reconstruction was attempted by Iwar Anderson of the VHAA [K. Vitterhets Historie och Antikvitetsakademien, Stockholm] in 1952 (SK..., ibid., figs. 436-438); the proposed reconstruction shows a basin of cruciform/tetralobed plan ornamented with a band of floral motif (palmette-like) around its middle, with mouldings at top and bottom; the basin appears mounted on a plain square pedestal base in the illustration. The 1815 inventory of this church mentioned two wooden fonts in this church, according to the same source (ibid., p. 414)
