Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 3: 250 and fig 272 on p. 251) as a composite font consisting of three parts: the plain hemispheric basin is modern and made from sandstone from Uppland, but the two other parts, stem and lower base/plinth, are made of limestone and dated from the time of the original church in the 13th century. The stem of the base is cylindrical and ornamented with a row of saw-tooth at the top, and four (?) vertical mouldings, at 90-degree angles; the lower base/plinth, a separate block, has an upper moulding -where the stem fits- and two steps.
