Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. II, Hft. 5: 882 and fig. 737 on p. 884) as a baptismal font of the "musselcuppa" type dated to ca. 1300 and made of Gotland limestone (and probably made on Gotland). The basin is hemispheric -though slightly irregular and rather shallow [has it been cut?]; its outer sides are ornamented with diagonal fluting. The pedestal of the base is cylindrical and has a roll-moulding at the top; the lower base is wider and also round, both plain.
