Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 1: 81, 100-101 and fig. 116 on p. 103) as a medieval baptismal font of Gotland limestone [material identification by Wilhelm von Post (ibid., 101n1)], dated to the second half of the 13th century by Roosval (1918: 197, as cited in SK..., 101n2). The font consists of a hemispherical basin with large ribbed pattern ornamentation all around; the base is of quatrefoil plant and consisting of two pieces: the stem and the lower base. The base of this font was found in the churchyard; the basin is shown in this source (SK..., fig. 116) in a 1917 photograph in which it was still serving as flower-pot.
