Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 2: 140 and fig. 158 on p. 139) as a sandstone cylindrical mounted baptismal font from the late 13th century; the basin has plain vertical sides and an equally plain chamfer. The upper base has a moulding in usual place of the centre ring; the rest is cylindrical and plain; the 1948 photograph in this source (cf. supra) shows a hole on the side of the base. A similar font exists at nearby Östuna [cf. Index entry], although it is dated to the 14th century.
