Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. III, hft. 1: 36 and fig. 36 on p. 35) as a sandstone hemispheric mounted baptismal font of the 13th century; a 1912 drawing by J. Österlund in this source shows the basin as having a band of close interlace all around the upper rim side, the rest of the basin being plain; a thich central ring is covered in braided motif; the rest of the base is square and has the following ornamentation: 1)braided motif on the face; reticular pattern at the bottom; 2)braided motif (or dragon?) on the face; interlace -similar to the one on the basin- at the bottom; 3)two four-legged animals, a tiny one at the top and a larger one looking like an ant-eater lower down the face; braided motif at the bottom; 4)continuous "8" motif on the face and the bottom.
