Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. II, hft. 4: 496 and fig. 429 on p. 497) as a cylindrical mounted baptismal font in grey limestone and dated to the second half of the 13th century; it is of a shape common in this area (e.g: fonts at Riala and Roslags-Bro [cf. Index entries]) and all over southern Sweden: round basin with quasi-vertical sides and shallow chamfer, all plain; the basin appears weathered and has damage to the upper rim, probably from the removal of the cover staples. The pedestal of the base is conical with a ring moulding at the top; the lower base is circular and wider, both plain.
