Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. I, hft. 4: 590 and fig. 610 on p. 593) as an octagonal mounted baptismal font made of brown limestone from Öland; the basin is octagonal with a rounded sides and underbowl, the sides covered in large stulised foliage motifs with the exception of the front side which has several small motifs (a castle or tower, a human arm?, etc.); the pedestal of the base is octagonal with a centre bulge and the lower base is splayed, giving thus the font the perfect shape of a chalice with a shallow bowl. The source reports an inscription that refers to Gabriel Oxenstierna ("the tall", governor of Ölland and Gotland) and gives the date 1672. [cf. Index entry for Österåker No. 1 for a second -12th-century?- font in this same church]
