Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Uppland (1921- , Bd. I, hft. 3: 452 and fig. 479 on p. 453) as a red-sandstone baptismal font of the 14th-15th century (this source dates the basin to the 15th century and the base from the 14th); the basin is cylindrical and has a flat underbowl; the base is also cylindrical but it is a of later date and made of grey limestone; both parts are plain. Noted and illustrated in the SHM’s database Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 940510F1] as a baptismal font of sandstone made in the 13th century. There are two other objects associated with baptism in this church: a 17th-century (?) font [cf. Index entry for Värmdö No. 2 for a 17th-century font in this same church], and a 18th-century baptism table ["dopbord"].
