Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Blekinge (1926-1965, Bd. III: 78) as a goblet-shaped baptismal font made of bronze in Northern Germany (Lübeck?) in 1604; the basin has an upturned half-bell shape [most bronze font casting was done in bell foundries] (or tulip-shaped) and is ornamented with two bands of inscription [cf. Inscription area]. The base is also bell-shaped with several mouldings on its sides. A 1935 photograph in the same source (SK..., ibid., fig. 74) shows the font raised on a stool-like metal support.
