Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Blekinge (1926-1965, Bd. II: 60 and fig. 56 on p. 63; Bd. V: 82) as the hemispheric basin of a late-13th century limestone baptismal font, a Gotland work; from the illustration provided in this source it resembles a Paradise font, its sides ornamented with the characteristic wide-rib pattern of the basins of that group. The font -believed to be from the medieval church of Asarum- is shown in this source standing in the gardens of the Janneberg estate serving as a planter; it is mounted on a granite base, not the original.
