Illustrated in Castilla y León (1999); it appears to be a former capital re-cycled as a holy-water stoup; the plan is quadrangular, rounded and narrower at the lower end where it meets the base; the visible side has a beautifully carved seven-head hydra; the base itself is a cluster of four columns turned together in a slight twist. Described and illustrated by Rodríguez Montañés in Soria románica (2001) as a former capital from Santa María de Tiermes, moved to Manzanares in the 16th century and, before 1752, moved again to the parish church at Sotillos. From there it was finally moved, in the 1870s, to the cathedral of Burgo de Osma, where it now stands against one of the walls of the Chapter. Rodríguez Montañés (ibid.) identifies the seven-head beast with the one described in the Book of Revelation X (1-10). The origin of this font is also noted in García Gómez (2007).
