Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Blekinge (1926-1965, Bd. I: 329, 332 and fig. 368 on p. 334) as a wooden baptismal font of the second half of the 16th century; the font is made of pine and has been located in the chapel of nearby Sillhöfda since 1777; the polygonal font has a rare shape for a wooden font: wide at the top and bottom and narrowing tightly in the centre, forming panels above and below the centre ring; the arrises and frames of these panels are all finely carved with geometric (?) patterns.
