Described and illustrated in Sveriges kyrkor: Blekinge (1926-1965, Bd. I: 329 and fig. 366 on p. 332; Bd. V, 84 and fig. 130 on p. 154) as a wooden hexagonal baptismal font carved by Åke Truedsson of Jämshög; the upper side of the hexagonal basin has an inscription [cf. Inscription area]; each panel of the basin sides is ornamented with a garland; the base consists of a central baluster-shaped hexagonal pedestal as well as six putti, one at each outer angle; the lower part is also hexagonal and stands on six short feet. There is matching baldaquin over the font, of the open-crown type, that serves as lamp as well; Christ figure finial.
