Described in Sveriges kyrkor: Blekinge (1926-1965. Bd. I: 73) as a wooden bapttismal font dating from the first half of the 17th century; the font was restored and painted in the 1790s; a baldaquin on this font is illustrated in the same source (ibid., fig. 89, p. 79), an airy octagonal "crown-type" affair with the usual eight trusses around a central pole at the top, somewhat similar to the common Jacobean types of England; the cover is approximately the same age as the font.
